The route runs vertically along the 'Costiera dei Cech' to reach the highest terrace of the Poira plain from Morbegno. The climb has an affordable average gradient, but has some more difficult sections. On an asphalt road, you reach the hamlet of Santa Croce and turn left in front of the church into Via Corlazio.
The next diversions to the right towards the hamlet of Fiasco leads to Mello on a cemented road with very steep sections. The climb continues to Poira di Fuori with gradients of 10 to 15 %. After crossing the beautiful plain to the east, you reach Poira di Dentro and begin the descent. A short dirt stretch leads to Civo. Afterwards, we return to Morbegno on an asphalt road through the woods above Santa Croce and then return to Mantello on the Sentiero Valtellina.
